Per ricordare l'impegno di Antonio Ruberti nella ricerca nei campi dei Controlli Automatici e della Teoria dei Sistemi, il suo contributo alla fondazione di una nuova disciplina, alla costruzione di una scuola oggi presente in molte università italiane e straniere, nel 2005 la Fondazione Ruberti ha promosso con la collaborazione della IEE Control Systems Society l'iniziativa "Antonio Ruberti Young Researcher Prize". Il Premio, assegnato annualmente, si propone di conferire un riconoscimento ad una nuova generazione di Ingegneri in grado di rispondere ai bisogni della società attraverso un percorso multidisciplinare dai sistemi complessi all'innovazione tecnologica.
